Hi! I’m glad you’re here.

Can you believe the holiday season is here already?! I’m excited because it’s time for my favorite holiday tradition: putting out the annual Disability Holiday Gift Guide along with my friend Kate Caldwell, a nationally recognized consultant on disability entrepreneurship. As always, you’ll find lots of fun items from disabled entrepreneurs, a few books by disabled writers, and a few disability-led organizations to support. In increasingly tumultuous times, I hope this guide brings you a little holiday joy!

Without further ado, I present to you…The Original Disability Holiday Gift Guide 2023!

Brought to you by Emily Ladau and Kate Caldwell

Click here for the full festive infographic. To ensure accessibility, I’ve got you covered with an image description: A list of disabled-owned businesses, books by disabled authors, and disability-led organizations is spread out over four slides. The first three slides are bordered by a festive pattern of snowflakes, yellow stars, red berries, and branches with blue-hued backgrounds. The fourth slide has a blue and yellow background with stars accenting it. At the bottom of slides 2-4: a dancing gingerbread person, a snowperson with earmuffs and a scarf, and a dancing snowperson with sunglasses. On the first slide, there is a red ribbon banner accompanied by text that says “The Original Disability Holiday Gift Guide 2023 by Emily Ladau & Kate Caldwell. Check out Gift Guides from past years below!” Under the text, gift guides from 2016-2022 are linked on images of snowpeople and gingerbread cookies in the shapes of stars and houses. The business listings each include a small thumbnail image of an item from the shop, accented by an ornament. The book covers are next to each title, and the organization logos are next to each organization’s name.
